What can you expect?
The Gondola ride lasts around 17 minutes and stretches over 5 km up the mountain, transporting guests from the parking area to the Village. Gondola Operators scan lift passes and safely load/unload guests and their equipment from the gondola cabins in a fast-paced environment. Answering guest queries and moving freight on and off the cabins is an integral part of this position. This is a physically demanding position requiring manual labour, heavy lifting, and primarily operates outside.

This job might be right for you if you think you would enjoy:
Greeting guests and sharing your knowledge about our awesome resort.
Helping guests with their equipment and assisting guests to load onto the gondola safely.
In peak periods, displaying and maintaining orderly traffic conditions.
Moving freight on and off the Gondola.
Being a lean, mean, snow removing machine.
The great outdoors presents a variety of weather conditions. Be prepared for anything!
About You:
Previous guest service experience and/or manual labor experience is an asset.
You love interacting with people and have a positive, engaging and friendly attitude.
It would be a great asset if you’re a competent skier or snowboarder, but this isn’t required to be a Gondola Operator.
If you’re a competent skier or snowboard, or excited to learn, you should possess your own ski or snowboarding equipment or be willing to buy it on arrival.
You’re able to execute and adhere to tasks with respect to company policies and procedures.
