About the opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Travelling Superintendent to lead large-scale commercial and industrial projects nationwide, typically ranging from $20M–$50M. The portfolio includes big-box retail stores, warehouses, food processing facilities, and large site developments up to 100 acres. This role offers a 10-days-on / 4-days-off rotation, 15% travel uplift, and a $165/day per diem for accommodation and meals, plus vehicle rental allowance. It’s ideal for a results-driven leader who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys seeing projects through from start to finish. Please note: This is a site-based position open to candidates across Canada. About the position Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Travelling Superintendent will oversee all aspects of on-site construction execution, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Key Responsibilities: Lead site operations, managing subcontractors and self-performed work. Drive construction schedules and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Anticipate challenges and collaborate with PMs and clients to find proactive solutions. Mentor junior superintendents and field staff. Maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
