Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Front of House and Back of House staff member at our bustling pizza restaurant! This full-time and part-time role offers an exciting opportunity to be the face and hands behind a vibrant food service operation. You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, preparing delicious food, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. Whether you’re engaging with customers at the counter or ensuring smooth kitchen operations, your energy and dedication will help create memorable dining moments for every guest.

Duties

Welcome customers warmly, take orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, and provide friendly service throughout their visit
Prepare and assemble food items following established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency
Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, process payments efficiently, and give correct change
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in both front-of-house areas and back-of-house kitchen spaces
Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management to ensure freshness and safety compliance
Support food preparation tasks including slicing, topping pizzas, and assembling ingredients as needed
Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with knowledge of food preparation techniques
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash handling technology
Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Basic math skills for cash handling, order totaling, and inventory counting
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with kitchen experience or restaurant background preferred
Enthusiastic about upselling menu items to boost sales and enhance guest experience
