We're looking for an experienced Sous Chef who is passionate about culinary excellence, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is excited to help shape one of Banff's most exciting dining destinations.
As Sous Chef, you'll be a key leader in our kitchen and an important mentor for the culinary team. Working closely with the Executive Chef, you'll help deliver consistently exceptional food while fostering a positive and professional kitchen culture.

Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting daily kitchen operations and service execution
Leading, coaching, and developing cooks and kitchen team members
Maintaining food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
Assisting with ordering, inventory control, and cost management
Ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are upheld
Participating in menu development, feature creation, and seasonal offerings
Assisting with scheduling, training, and performance management
Leading the kitchen in the Chef's absence
What We're Looking For
Previous Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef, or strong Chef de Partie experience
Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
Strong organizational and communication abilities
A passion for contemporary Canadian cuisine and hospitality
Knowledge of food costing, inventory, and kitchen operations
Food Safety certification
Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
