We pride ourselves on safe, friendly, and efficient transportation in one of the world’s most beautiful destinations. The Role: As a Taxi Dispatcher, you are the critical hub of our operation. You’ll manage incoming ride requests, coordinate our fleet of drivers, and ensure every customer receives prompt, professional service. This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role where your quick thinking and communication skills directly impact people’s experience in Banff. Key Responsibilities Answer high-volume call requests efficiently and professionally Dispatch taxis to customer locations, hotels, airports, trailheads, and events Monitor driver locations and job status in real-time Provide accurate information on wait times, fares, and local destinations Handle customer inquiries, special requests, and occasional complaints with patience and problem-solving skills Coordinate with drivers via radio, phone, and dispatch software Maintain accurate records of trips, bookings, and shift logs Assist with scheduling and ensuring adequate coverage during peak tourist seasons Work collaboratively with the team to deliver exceptional service What We’re Looking For Previous experience in dispatch, customer service, call center, or hospitality is strongly preferred Exceptional verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional phone manner Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions under pressure Strong geographical knowledge of Banff, Lake Louise, Canmore, and surrounding areas (or the ability to learn quickly) Comfortable using computers, dispatch software, and two-way radios Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (tourism doesn’t stop!) Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude Must be located in Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise, or Cochrane.
