Starting at $18/hour, with the opportunity to earn approximately $25/hour based on average monthly commission.

Role Summary

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be one of the faces of Monod Sports and an important part of the experience our customers have in the store.

You’ll work directly with customers to understand what they need, provide knowledgeable product recommendations, and help them find the right gear for their next day in the mountains.

Providing approachable, informed, and genuine customer service will be at the centre of your day.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with product selection and provide knowledgeable, friendly service.
Ask the right questions to understand each customer’s needs and recommend appropriate products.
Share product knowledge across footwear, apparel, equipment, and outdoor categories.
Operate the point-of-sale system and process cash, credit, and debit transactions.
Maintain merchandise displays and ensure the sales floor is well stocked and organized.
Assist with inventory checks and day-to-day inventory management.
Participate in product knowledge sessions and training from the brands we carry.
Work collaboratively with the rest of the Monod Sports team to create an excellent in-store experience.
What We’re Looking For

A genuine interest in the outdoors and experience with activities such as hiking, skiing, climbing, running, or similar pursuits.
Familiarity with outdoor products, equipment, and brands.
Previous retail or sales experience is an asset.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
