Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Tube Park Outside Operations Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our outdoor tube park. In this pivotal role, you will ensure a safe, fun, and seamless experience for all guests while managing staff, maintaining safety protocols, and delivering exceptional guest services. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, foster a welcoming environment, and uphold the highest standards of safety and hospitality. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of outdoor adventure and guest engagement.

Duties

Lead, train, and support Tube Park staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable guest experience.
Work with HR on hiring and onboarding Tube Park employees, including training, paperwork, and staff equipment.
Conduct daily staff meetings, assign positions and duties, and review safety procedures.
Work closely with Operations to assess lane safety, grooming requirements, snow removal, and general Tube Park conditions.
Coordinate with Guest Services to review bookings, determine staffing requirements, manage sold-out sessions, and assist with guest questions.
Support guest flow and crowd control during busy periods.
Train staff on guest service, safety procedures, and emergency response.
Ensure staff training manuals and required documentation are completed.
Oversee daily opening and closing procedures, including Tube Park setup, teardown, and carpet covering.
Ensure the Tube Park, walkways, decks, signage, and surrounding areas are safe, clean, and properly maintained.
Oversee P3 parking operations on weekends and busy days.
Maintain staff spaces and shipping containers in an organized and clean condition.
Create staff schedules and review bi-weekly timesheets for payroll submission.
Maintain Tube Park records, including daily logs, employee documentation, incident and WCB forms, and accident investigations.
Conduct staff reviews and address performance or disciplinary matters as required.
Qualifications

Proven experience in hospitality, customer service, or guest services roles with a focus on outdoor or recreational settings
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and staff alike
Experience with cash handling, ticketing systems, or point-of-sale operations is preferred
Ability to remain energetic, attentive, and proactive during long shifts outdoors in varying weather conditions
Knowledge of safety standards related to outdoor recreational activities is advantageous
A passion for creating memorable guest experiences while maintaining safety standards
